ABOUT ME

let's see here....obviously I love to travel. I've had my heart set on travelling ever since i was a wee little girl and only when I graduated from college and worked my ass off for a year to save some money did i have the opportunity to actually do it. I travelled Southeast Asia about three years ago all on my own for 9 months! I just packed up my bags and took off without a plan - and, boy, that was an experience I will never forget.
I have such big dreams and ambitions that sometimes i overwhelm myself with all these ideas bottled up in my head.
hmmm what else can i say?! oh, yes, I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkies....but in the safest way possible :p I love scaring myself and getting the butterflies.

I love communal dinners and being spontaneous. I'm super relaxed. Really, anything goes and I try to work around everyone's schedule as best I can so that I can do it alllll.

PHILOSOPHY

being mad doesn't solve anything! This is something I live by. In order words, I hardly get angry. You'll always see a smile on my face :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first time couch surfing was when I started my SEA trip. Now I hope to pay back the favor when I return home...whenever that will be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my nine-month journey to Asia three years ago and also started my couch surfing experience. My first stop was in Singapore, and I spent a great, fun-filled week on Ben's couch. Since then, I've been trying to couch surf as much as I can.

I love learning!!! Most things interest me, but if you start talking about rocks, space, and plants, you've lost me. :p

music: classic rock, modern rock, dubstep/house/trance, acoustic, mellow music, conservatory... let's just say i really appreciate a good tune
books: the books that make you think and have a twist in the end. i don't like books that are predictable.
movies: anchorman, out cold, scarface, supertroopers, the inbetweeners, and then most entrepreneur films

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

climbed Mt. Fugi for the sunrise, hike up Revelstoke with my snowboard, survived 30 days lost in translation in China, took the worlds fastest train, experienced the Thai new year, ate jelly fish/ shark fin soup/ live octopus, hung out with the famous Hiroshima soccer members, experienced a korean spa, been on the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world, met amazing ppl who lived through the Khmer Rouge and shared some stories with me (that was a real emotional time and a great eye-opener), travelled to Halong Bay, i posted where i was in FB while i was in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and 9 ppl that i met along my trip or friends from home showed up at my hostel that same night (made me realize how small the world really is), went bobsledding down the Calgary bobseld run (seriously thought my head was going to pop off).
