ABOUT ME

Hello :)
As a half Dutch - half Hungarian, international folk dancing girl, you can not deny that I'm quite a bit culturally oriented :) I was born and still live in the Netherlands, but I have lived for one semester in Budapest as an Erasmus student, an amazing experience. Currently, I work as a psychologist and continue to educate myself in different fields: like clientcentered psychotherapy and ACT. Next to that, I am an active dancer, part of an International Folkdance group in Amsterdam, with whom I travel to an international dancefestival almost every year. This group combines 2 of my big passions; dancing and travelling. Next to that I love (experimenting with making) music. I play the piano since I was 9 years old, and gave a 'sponsor' concert to earn my own piano for in my student room. When I was 14 I bought a cheap violin in Romania, because I'm in love with the Hungarian folk music. During the semester in Budapest I took some violinlessons as well form a folk musician. Besides, I love being inspired. Interesting books and movies, philosophical/reflective/spiritual talks... :) My personality tends to being really social (hanging a lot around with friends, parties, meeting new people), but I can really enjoy being alone once in a while as well.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in South-Korea, a nice beginning :) Since then I have surfed once in Paris and on my trip in South America :)

Música, películas y libros

I like movies like: Mr. Nobody, Peaceful Warrior, Forrest Gump, The words: all with a meaning in it. Of course I enjoy 'easier' movies as well :) Nowadays i like to read filosophical/psychological books, like 'The power of now' of Eckhart Tolle, a book about epigenetics, NDE, etc.
My music tast is widely oriented, I love worldmusic (Hungarian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Turkish, Irish folk music for instance), Balkanbeats, (gipsy) Jazz, Rock (RHCP, The black keys), Old music (Rolling Stones, The Kinks, CCR), Alt J, Jose Gonzales, Kölsch... and a lot more!
