ABOUT ME

Hello!
I love to travel, explore, dance, create, hike, bike and meet new people! I lived in Boulder, Colorado USA for many years and worked in a brewery and attended the University of Colorado. During University I also studied and lived in Chile for a year, and got to travel through South America, and also had the opportunity to travel to Tanzania. I also lived in Hungary teaching English in a small but lovely Spa town! Now I am back home in the mountains of beautiful Golden, Colorado.
I love to dance, sing, hike, travel, drink and talk about delicious beer, learn how to become a better cook, and meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in constant motion, and I enjoy everything life has to offer. I believe in being genuine and open, and accepting people for where they are in each moment. I believe in being vulnerable, and find richness in connecting with other people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think Couchsurfing is an amazing platform to connect people across the world. I have proudly turned several friends on to CS and they have thanked me for it. I love surfing, and hosting, and am excited to get involved more in the community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many times in Boulder, and have surfed a number of times in Europe. I am looking forward to hosting more people!

Interests

Pretty much everything. Beer, food, dance, cultures, languages, traveling... It is pretty difficult for me to find things I'm Not interested in. I believe that staying curious and interested in life is important to keeping our minds young and healthy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love reading and listening to music, so pretty much anything that gets me thinking or moving!

Types of books I enjoy include; anything Science Fiction (particularly the Dune series!), anything by Barbara Kingsolver, books with pictures in them, and mostly Fiction in general. I enjoy non-fiction, too, but I mostly enjoy tales of imagined places and creatures and people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Chile and studying in South America for one year was amazing. Since then I have gotten to travel and see so many beautiful places! I have been very blessed, so it is hard to pick just one amazing thing!
Dancing with Maasai and looking over the Yaeda valley in Tanzania, standing atop the fortress walls in Kotor, Montenegro, and walking across the entire country of Malta from 2-7 AM are a few amazing things that come to mind. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning from people who have anything to teach (which I think is everyone!). Anything from languages, cooking and dancing, to physics, science and philosophy interests and excites me. I believe everyone at least has a story to share, and I enjoy learning from everyone I meet. I also love sharing knowledge I have about stretching and dance, beer making and tasting, traveling, life abroad, and teaching; and I always love sharing a beer (or a few), a meal, and conversation.
