Hello everyone,

I'm Céline, an ordinary girl from Belgium. I grew up in Bavikhove, an unknown village in West-Flanders, I live there with my parents but in the near future, I will live with my boyfriend.
I lived in Ghent during my study and I had the opportunity to get to know the nice little places there while staying there during the week.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In 2013, I made this profile because I liked the idea of couchsurfing. I didn't do anything with the profile at the moment but looking around. Tough, I was fascinated by the fact that strangers of different cultures/countries get to know each other while staying at each others place. I loved the idea of it.

I discovered travelling is really nice. My parents don't like travelling but the last couple of years, I had the opportunity to travel with friends and with my boyfriend. I have had the greatest times while being abroad and that's when I wanted to study in a different country.

In 2015, I was selected to do my internship in Finland. That's when this profile became useful. I wanted to get to know Finnish people and get to know the habits of the Finnish while discovering the country at the same time. Couchsurfing seemed the best choice to combine those two things.

Another reason why I'm on Couchsurfing is because travelling can be expensive. Furthermore, if you go to a hotel, or choose a cheap hostel, you don't get to know new people. I thought that couchsurfing was a good thing to start my Erasmus experience.

As for now, I’m not a student anymore. I work as a physiotherapist in an unknown region near Kortrijk in West-Flanders. If you want to visit, I may accept your request, depending on my schedule.

兴趣

I love travelling and getting to know how people in other countries live. Friends are really important to me and I love it to spent time with my friends. Whether it's in Belgium or abroad.

I spent every Sunday in the Chiro (that's like the Scouts in Belgium). I was a leader and tried to give the children from the neighbourhood a nice Sunday afternoon.

I like sports and that's why I chose to study Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy. I like to run in a nice environment and I used to play tennis. I still like the sport but for the moment, I don't find the time to play. I prefer going for a run or biking.

I love different kinds of music but I prefer Indie Rock to listen to in my room. I play the piano and I play guitar myself so music is an important part of my life.

I like watching movies but I don't have a specific genre. It depends on my mood.

The series I like the most: Prison break, Person of interest, House MD, How I met your mother, friends, ...

I used to read a lot of books (especially the Harry Potter books, over and over again) but I put a lot of time and work in my studies and spent a lot of time with my boyfriend, my friends and work.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the summer of 2014, I bought a car with a couple of friends in Canada and we made a roadtrip in Canada and the United States. It was an amazing experience. We discovered Toronto, then camped around a lake in Canada, we drove all the way to Tennessee to discover Nashville and have a great time there. After that, we drove to New York, we saw the Niagara Falls and went back to Toronto to fly back to Belgium. It was my best experience so far.

I can share my time with you and can give you some company. I can tell you about the travels that I've done so far if you want to. And I can tell you about the life in Belgium. We can do something and have a good time together or we can just have a drink together, whatever you like to.
