Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Céline and I am a photography student living in Paris. I would say that I am a very curious person, always looking for news things to learn and new places to discover. Understanding how the world works but also how people think, even if we disagree on a topic, are two important values to me.
Besides, I am a true nature lover and I am found of hiking, especially in mountains. So taking pictures of landscapes and wildflife is one of my main hobbies!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even though I can be sometimes pretty solitary in my daily life, I alwaaays enjoy meeting new people, and that's the main reason why I am on Couchsurfing. I like how it can offer the possibility to really take the time to meet someone and sometimes discover his own life. There's something I could qualify of 'authentic' that I really appreciate here!

Music, Movies, and Books
- Music
I listen so many different things! Lately, a lot of classic rock, folk and indie music. But I also enjoy atmospheric music, electronic music, classical music, and I have to confess that I was a huge fan of metal and punk music before!
- Movies
I particularly enjoy films that share intense emotions or that have a beautiful visual aesthetic.
I can evok The Handmaiden, Mommy, Will Hunting, Memento, Captain Fantastic, Drive, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke ...
- Books
Reading is definitely one of my favorite hobbies! It's an individual activity, but it can makes you travel in the time and in the world, and I often feel emotionnally attached to all those imaginary characters.
Again very diversified: from classical literature (Orwell, Austen, Wilde, Flaubert, Balzac, Duras ...), to fantasy (thanks to the wonderful Tolkien!) or essays ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As I do believe happiness can be found in very simple things, I would say that every time I didn't give up on a project (because of my fears) ended in an extraordinay adventure. So that's why I can't help but keep going outside of my comfort zone, for example in travelling on my own as soon as possible!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be happy to share advices in photography, or anything about my own country and its culture (especially litterature, arts, or even language). I am also not too bad in cooking, and if you'd like to, I always like to show surprising vegan recipes!
