Music, Movies, and Books

movies: Charlie Chaplin, Lucia y el sexo by Julio Medem, Pedro Almodovar, The Graduate, Bagdad cafee, Arizona Dream, Wong-Kar Wai, Pulp Fiction, jarmush, etc.....and all the bad 80's movies that we grew up with... like back to the future.

TV: once I put The Prisonner I can't really say anything else, because I can't think about something nearly as good.

Books: 'Foam of the Daze' by Boris Vian is definitively one of the book I have read more than 10 times. You can add all Daniel Pennac. Then I love Alfred Doblin 'Berlin Alexanderplatz' and Mikhaïl Boulgakov 'The Master and Margarita'...this book is genius. Dostoevsky 'The idiot'. I pretty much read all Ionesco theater pieces. I love absurdity. Lately I have been a lot into Douglas Coupeland, Philip K Dick...bukowsky. Céline of course...'Journey to the end of the night'. I love reading poetry from Prevert especially 'Paroles' when my mood is down.
But I always come back to Boris Vian.
Tales of the city by armistead Maupin is the best summer reading

I also like music..but I don't feel like writing all about it right now..let's just say...Max Roach especially the 60's period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

traveling, stopping school at 14 because I wanted to ski only, learning about art, hiking to the top of mountains with my grand father, falling in love once, learning english in a few months. dreaming.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a ski teacher, I can also teach you all about art history, and I guess I can teach french. About contemporary art: Depending on my mood I don't always feel the courage to argue to the classic 'I could have made this when I was 7'
