About Me
CURRENT MISSION
surviving grad school
ABOUT ME
I'm a grad student at the University of Oklahoma and right now I'm just trying to survive school and teaching. I've played the cello for 14 years. I like cats but am a bit allergic to them; not big on dogs. I'm pretty quiet and calm but can be talkative if it interests me or I'm excited. I really like linguistics and figuring out how languages work. And my eyes are different colors, although most people don't notice.
PHILOSOPHY
life is beautiful.

Music, Movies, and Books
cello music and classical, especially the organ and percussion music, contemporary Christian music, but really I don't listen to much. I guess being a musician I savor the silence. Read books by Elizabeth Elliot, Lori Wick, Jane Austen, Francine Rivers, the Bible... I like romantic comedies, drama and adventure, not horror or scary stuff
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
all the architecture in Germany and Austria (only places I've seen much so far) - the cathedrals, palaces... especially the cathedral in the center of Vienna, St. Stephens I think? also, old instruments
Teach, Learn, Share
go to a percussion concert sometime. they're awesome
