My name is Celso Araújo, I am from Maceió-Alagoas-Brazil. I am a lawyer, but since the begining of 2017 I dedicate myself almost exclusively to diving. I am a Diving Instructor from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), a profession that has been bringing me excellent life experiences and making contact with several interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try to have good interactions with local people to learn a little more about the culture and habits typical of each region.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to practically all musical styles, but I really like listening to good reggae, classic rock and some heavy metal. Another activity that brings me great pleasure is watching a good movie, a comedy, an action or horror movie and even a drama or romance movie in good company.
As for the books, I like to read travel books or Sherlock Holmes-style detective novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To this day, the most incredible thing I've done is learning to dive. This put me in touch with people of different cultures and customs, set me free from the routine and opened my head to new possibilities.

Teach, Learn, Share

If there is one thing you can not stop is to learn. I try to keep my mind open for new experiences and try to extract the maximum learning from all events. Of course I spend some of what I know ahead.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do not run away from heavy work. I am not a person of excesses and consider myself a good company for new adventures.
