Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a fun and secure way to travel. You get to meet different people from different cultures, which makes your travel more fun and interesting. Also you don't have to stay alone at hotels and get bored on your own.

Interests

Mostly I'm into music. Started out with rock, metal, progressive metal; ended up with jazz music. I'm into anything from the Beatles to Opeth to Charlie Parker and John Coltrane.

I'm into computers, games and stuff too. I have even programmed computer games for a few years.

I'm into spiritual and philosophical stuff. I'm into theoretical stuff. I'm into traveling, cultural stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: (kind of) chronogically: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Slayer, Dream Theater, Opeth, Death, Transatlantic, The Beatles, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, Grant Green...

Movies: I'm not much of a movie fan, but I love Star Wars series, since it involves everything you would possibly look for in a movie: politics, romance, action, philosophy, fictional universe.

Books: For classics I like Dostoyevski's Karamazov Brothers and Crime and Punishment. I read 6 of the Harry Potters :) Also Lord of the Rings.

Other than that I mostly read about stuff like religions or philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave up on my computer engineering career which promises me tons of money, and decided to study music at 25! This is something that I'm proud of doing (hopefully I can fulfill this aim).
