ABOUT ME

I've grown up in a little coast city of southern Turkey and still living there. That's the reason of my love for the sea and every sunset.. Taking a walk netx to it is my appreciation.
There is an expression like; "you always meet with people like you" and I do believe that. Not exactly the same personality maybe but one little piece is enough to build that connection. As I look around, I really appreciate for the people I've met and for the ones I have not met yet.
Hearing difference between first and last impression about myself from people makes me laugh because it's always different. The word for the first one is usually "cold person" :)
I take unpleased situations as "lesson learned/experience" instead of "regret".
I'm very very curious about new tastes, new countries, new people. Open minded, calm, joyful, sympathiser, positive, kind, believe in energy.
I'm working with international non-governmental organisations since 2014.
I love cooking very much cause it's my therapy. I always find myself fully concentrated so my mind is more than free during cooking session.
I admire kids, the way they see the world, their reaction about what's happening around and their purity... They are the best version of our species. There is a lot to learn from them.
I have an interest about human psychology. This help me a lot to understand whats going on and how to react.
And can not live without having strong coffee everyday!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because staying with a local would be great opportunity as a host in the place you don't know but trying to feel like local even for a few days, thats my wish. Beside there is a chance to stay in cross-cultural interaction, share experiences, knowledge and widen my perspective all the time. Places just a places until you fill it with good memories and nice people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz takes me away and chill, rap is a mood boster, rock music shut my brain off when I overthink or angry, latin music touch my soul. Blues, country, pop, reggae,... all welcome and I love them all!

I'd like to read about any kind of topics ranging from science, fiction, literate, biography, detective, astronomy and so on. Same for movie topics.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share recipes of Turkish cuisine or even teach how to cook. Also would like to talk about misconceptions of Turkey. Practise on Turkish if you are interested.
Any experience, story, interest you have will be welcome to listen. I would really love to learn about any cuisines. I've took basic tennis and latin dance courses once but could not improve them sadly. I wish to speak Spanish, learn yoga better and to be able to play musical instrument (wondering piano, drums or one kind of guitar).
