CURRENT MISSION

Make cow cheese a part of my life, and then maybe learn to surf.

ABOUT ME

I am very ambitious, but equally laid back and open-minded. I come from a beautiful family (father is a classically trained concert pianist and professor, mother is a manager in a big skyscraper (though she is an artist in the kitchen), and an amazing sister in the visual arts). I am as serious as a person needs to be to make sense of life, but in general, I live care-free and spontaneously. Most of my closest friends have known me since childhood, however I am very social and love to meet new people. I am independent, resourceful, and honest. I seem to find it impossible to spend an entire day in the house (or a night for that matter!). I love to be outdoors, am a bit of a thrill seeker, and hope to try everything at least once. If something doesn't suit me the first time around, I am very likely to try it again and again--I refuse to accept that I cannot enjoy all that life has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

One day at a time... Don't anticipate the future. Although consecutively minutes, days, weeks and months may lead us to some particular destination,.. it is just as true that months, weeks, days and minutes only appear path-like when seen retrospectively. So I don't bother with planning things out to far into the future, happiness comes one second at a time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am totally new to couch surfing, and am currently searching for a place to stay in Belgium this summer. I have recently moved into Brooklyn, and hopefully I can make friends through CSing.

Intereses

All the arts, but of course, I am most interested in dance. Food, drinks, laughter.
Its easier to say what doesn't really interest me, that list is much shorter: TV... although I do like to talk about TV, just not watch it so much.
