Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member of www.hospitalityclub.org for sometime and I have heard www.couchsurfing.org from my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a Polish couple Emilia and Jarek in İzmir via www.hospitalityclub.org for a night years ago. We had really nice chat with them and I learned a lot things from them about Poland,Veganism....After hosting Emilia and Jarek, I hosted Aurimas,my Lithuanian friend, who came to İzmir during World Basketball Championship, which was held between 28th of August and 12th of September 2010. He stayed 6 nights beside me and he introduced me lots of his Lithuanian friends in İzmir, with whom we had great time altogether.

Interests

I'm very interested in dancing Salsa, Reageton and Merengue. I also love learning foreign languages. I can speak Turkish, English, German, Spanish and a bit Russian. I also I sing and play Quanun professionally in Melbourne. I sing and play in 10 different languages from English to Spanish, Russian to Bosnian, which consist of traditional and popular songs of Russia,Bosnia,Italy, Spain, Ukraine.... I also love sports and sport is a way of life for me. I play tennis, basketball, beachvolleyball,tabletennis. Furthermore, I love travelling and meeting with new people and new cultures.I am also very interested in going to cinema, theatre and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all kinds of movies including dramas, thrillers, romantic-comedies. However, Science-fiction films aren't my cup of tea. My favourite film directors are Fatih Akın and Cagan Irmak

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011, ı was in Belgrade Serbia and I really had very pleasant time there. Once, we were in a traditional Serbian Tavern, which is called Kafana with my friends. ı still remember the wonderful Serbian Gypsy Band, which was performing vivid,dynamic and sometimes sad love songs.Plus, you should try Serbian beverage Rakia definetely, which is made of different fruits such as Plum, Quince,Pear,Apricot or Honey. Actually, it resembles to Turkish Rakı or Greek Uzo, yet you can try various fruits, which makes it a unique beverage.

Teach, Learn, Share

Turkish, English,German, Spanish and some Russian. I can help you in playing tennis, basketball, volleyball,table tennis. Moreover, I can show how to play Quanun, which is a traditional Turkish instrument and how to sing in many languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you the basic steps of Salsa, Bachata, Reageton and Merengue. I will also be glad to share my live music with you. I can teach you Turkish, English, some German, Spanish and a bit Russian as well. If you are into sports I will be more than happy to play with you beachvolleyball, tabletennis, tennis, basketball or soccer.
