I am currently on a semester abroad from the Netherlands at Texas A&M University. Having been born in Virginia, USA, but shortly after moving to Turkey and then The Netherlands where I spent most of my life growing up, I always wanted to return to the states some day. Now here I am :) and I am looking to experience as much of it as possible and get a true American experience!

My main goals in life are to grow as a person in all aspects, and experiencing what the world has to offer. I have been active with sports my whole life, always open to new adventures. I have a particular interest in nature, as I find myself in my most peaceful state being surrounded by it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Several of my friends have recommended CouchSurfing to me as a great way to meet locals in places I am visiting, and I can't think of a better way to experience the culture. I love meeting new people and learning from them by sharing our perspectives on life and our experiences.

Btw, I am quite new to this platform which reflects on the number of references and friends I have (or lack thereof). But I hope you will give me a chance, as I have to start somewhere, right? ;)

Mostly listen to hip hop and techno.
I tend to like critically acclaimed movies the most as I appreciate the talent of actors, story writing and cinematography.
