Hey there! I am Kaya, born and raised in Bavaria, Germany (originally from Turkey, Ankara) and now living in the beautiful city of Hamburg in order to get my degree in Airplane Engineering. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good way to meet friendly people and learn about other cultures and languages. And also makes the travelling cheaper 😜
Unfortunately I‘m not always available to host (my roommate likes his privacy (which is totally legit) ) so I will always ask him first if that’s ok and if I don’t host people all the time he is fine with it :)

Interests

I‘m interested in languages but also in everything that has wings, rotors —> is able to fly :))
I do sports more like running and cycling around so if you are up for a round around the Alster lake I would definitely do that with you ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all kind of music except the very hard stuff 😬
Nolan and Tarantino movies are my favorite :)
Spotify says I listened to music 113,536 minutes in a year. Yes, I‘m the guy you are always seeing with his headphones 😜

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to break my nose by jumping in 50cm „deep“ water at one of the rocky coasts in the Aegean Sea in Turkey :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I‘m always open to new kind of things. As I already wrote I‘m interested in languages so if you wanna share some words and phrases in your language I would be happy to learn. I can also teach some German, Turkish, English, (Basic) French if you would like. Other than that I recently started to learn Russian :)
I also have a YouTube channel where I upload some videos from my travels. Mostly footage that I capture with my drone. Nothing professional, only fun to film and cut :)
