About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dying in many years with the good feeling that I missed nothing.

ABOUT ME

All about me: :D It would be far too much to recap all my life here. Just let me tell you, that I'm an only child who was dragged around the Planet by his parents for all his pre-adult life.
At the age of 18 for the first time in my life I was able to decide for my own where to live. So I returned back to Germany and found a new home in Aachen.
Soon enough I realized that though I had found my place after so many years I still couldn't do without traveling all the time. It's like an obsession and a fairly expensive hobby...

PHILOSOPHY

Depends on my state of mind... May reach from spiritualist to nihilist... I've done too much thinking about "everything" that I can't draw any conclusions to the nature and why of this life and world without blowing my mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do go to the meetings every now and then and take great pleasure in organizing small get-togethers for BBQing or other occasions.
I've met many interesting people through CS, be it in my local group or while surfing in other places.
I think CS is the best online community ever, because It helps strangers become friends and friends become travel buddies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The infamous BBQ in the Stadtpark was the highlight of my CS career. I randomly invited everyone from Aachen and had a great response. So many people showed up and celebrated together that had not known each other before that night. And of course we got wasted!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: Children of Men (Best recent Movie)
Music: Drum&Bass, Reggae, Techno, (good)Pop
Books: I never read... Just News Magazines, Med School books and hours on the internet, so why would I need an outdated form of publication ;) No seriously I've read good books, one of them is "Neger Neger Schonsteinfeger" an autobiographic work of a young german boy born to a German mother and a Liberian father growing up in the 3rd Reich. He survived and later emigrated to the US where he became an activist in the civil rights movement. Google him: Hans-Jürgen Massaquoi The book is so sad and funny at the same time, that you can't decide wheter to laugh or to cry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pablo Picasso: "Guernica" (in Museo Reina Sofía Madrid)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have as many boring stories to tell as an 80year old grandpa! So listen up
