About Me

I'm a dancer, photographer, traveler, volunteer, coder, learner from Istanbul, Turkey. I have a deep sense of life appreciation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hungry for living and learning! I want to discover lifestyles and mindsets of people across cultures. I want to have real conversations, not only small talk with locales. Traveling is more than visiting museums and taking profile pictures, I want to have a chance to experience life through the eyes of a person who has a completely different story.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love listening nearly all kinds of music, every year I delve into a new genre. Some artists that I love: Claptone, Led Zeppelin, Röyksopp, Clint Mansell, Balthazar, The Bad Plus ...

Books: I love reading especially the classics. My favorites: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazancakis.

Movies: I love watching movies, and lately I'm trying to analyse them more professionally. My all time favorites: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Conversation, The Lives of Others, The Fountain.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love taking photographs of people, each person is a different story to me. I used to dance salsa and now I've been dancing tango for 2 years, I can teach basic steps of these two. I'm a computer engineering undergrad and I can teach you the logic behind coding! I love traveling and I can share my experience on living in Boston for 4 months. I can make you Turkish coffee if you want to taste local coffee of my country. I love playing card games and I can teach you a couple I know, I guess every country have their unique games. I also play volleyball, if you were looking for someone to play with, I could be the one :)
