About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the most of my new life in France!
ABOUT ME
Think my friends would say that I am easy to get along with, empathetic and considerate. Like consideration in others too. Have a wicked sense of humour. Good listener and love telling my stories too. Lived in London for 10 years until I sold up and went travelling, for 3 months in Africa and 5 months in India. Met my boyfriend while lost in a boulder field in Hampi, India, moved to France to be with him (and yes, for the wine and great food too!) last summer and planning to stay here, hoping my French will improve considerably with time.
PHILOSOPHY
It changes all the time as I learn new things... One thing I always try to remember is that everything changes, both the good and the bad, so never take any situation as permanent.
In our home we have an Arabian proverb pinned up which we love, as follows:
The words of the tongue should have three gatekeepers: Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
(Oh and we have scribbled underneath an addition of "Is it funny?") :-)
