About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Current mission? To travel and see as much of the world as possible and meet new people along the way! I enjoy learning about and experiencing cultures different from my own.

ABOUT ME

I am a bird nerd and outdoors enthusiast! I love to be outside, enjoying nature and exploring new places. I particularly enjoy falconry and currently have a female Lanner falcon.

PHILOSOPHY

Never dislike something without trying it out. You may never know what you are missing if you never experience it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is such a cool idea! One of my best friends, who is from Australia, introduced me to it last summer. I am really eager to be a host this fall at last!!! I've only surfed a couple of times so far but looove it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed in Lebanon so far, but it was incredible. I got to learn so much more about the country than I ever would have at a hotel or hostel, and my hosts introduced me to many other people whom I would never would have gotten to meet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finally reaching the ancient city of Petra, Jordan, was a dream come true! I was awestruck by the majestic remnants of the ingenious Nabatean peoples who once inhabited the area and carved themselves tombs, irrigation systems, theatres, and temples from solid stone! The first time I reached Petra, it was by candlelight at night, the shadows bouncing off the face of the "Treasury" building. Several musicians played traditional music there in the moonlight; the sounds reverberated eerily off the canyon walls and helped me to imagine the place as it was long ago. It was an incredible experience which I will not forget!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about falconry and would love to share what I know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bermuda, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, Qatar, United Arab Emirates
