About Me

Born in a small city near São Paulo, moved to the big city to study and lived there for the last 11 years.
After 8 years working, finally decided to quit my job and go travelling in Southeast Asia for one year (maybe more). Left my apartment, sold/donated/threw away my thing except for two backpacks of clothes and my bike (which unfortunately I left in Brazil) and started a more simple but richer life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though it would be a interesting place to meet locals and even other travellers. In the end, travelling is about knowing new people :)
One thing I noticed while backpacking is how hard it is to meet local people, staying at hostels you end up hanging with another backpackers (don't get me wrong, met amazing people this way, friends that I'll keep for life) and sometimes you miss the main reason why I am travelling that is knowing different cultures and really getting out of your comfort zone. I believe CS is a great way to connect travellers with locals and promote an unique experience.
Also is always interesting to see how is life for people at my age. It's nice to have a little glimpse of how my life could be if I were born somewhere else.

Interests

Hard to number all interests, but if I would have to point out one would say photography.

Besides my life/travel experiences, would be nice to cook together (not a 3 stars chef, but I know my way around a kitchen). Food is always an amazing way to bond :)
