About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Retire before 40... Self employed, designer and entrepeneur

ABOUT ME

Not a complicated fellow. Not afraid of trying new things, but smart enough to know what I should not try. I don't really cook but If I need to I wont poison myself or others. I consider myself a handy person.

Im a native spanish speaker and have a good english level, I tried to learn Mandarin but right know I only remember a few words.

Im tidy, but not excessively. I don't use drugs, I don't smoke and prefer not to be around when people do. I drink socially. Clubbing and partying is now part of the past, I do it once in a while but it's not a must do, I rather stay home or go out for dinner and drinks with friends. I enjoy concerts, museums and other non conventional activities.

PHILOSOPHY

Be Happy. Thats pretty much it. Do things that will make you happy in the long run. Live you life as you desire and not the life others want for you. Try to live as healthy as you can, may food be your medicine. Money is just money, "everything that has has price has no value" so learn to appreciate all that can not be bought and enjoy wisely the money you have, it was meant to be spent anyway. Live today like it was you last day, but have in mind you might have a long live ahead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had encounter wonderful hosts and people traveling in my life, and when I heard about the site I felt I owed to those kind people try to do the same for others.

Hitchhiking in Mexico I lost my camera in the car of a German couple who gave us a ride, two weeks later they saw me on the side of the road almost 1000 kms away from where we first met, they stopped and gave me my camera back. Many people gave us wonderful rides, one guy sticked with me and my two other travel buddies for days and drove us around the towns he knew in Yucatan. One time we stay at a little village where they let us stay at the elementary school yard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was struck by the contrast between rich and poor in India, even though I come from a country where there is a lot of poor people, the difference in India is so bold that is shocking.

Cuba, beaches are just unbelievably beautiful. Locals live in a parallel country very different from the country most tourist see.

Cambodia, Ankor was amazing, is one of those places everyone should go at least once in their lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn languages, willing to help with your spanish. I gave basic sketching and drawing lessons in the past.
