About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be happy, today, tomorrow, and ever

ABOUT ME

I am a man living in a flat near Venice (about 15 minutes distance), in the town named Mestre,
I am Christian Catholic, i.e. I believe I can reach my aim, the happiness, through God, and I can reach God through the Catholic Church.
It is not so easy to try to be a real Christian, but I am ambitious, and I know that if I like to climb a big mountain I have to count some efforts and some sacrifices. I am not too much scared about, because my faith is anchored on my personal experience.
I think love is the first and the most important thing, love that is to look for the good of your beloved, and I think that happiness is to love and to feel to be loved.
I think we are all equal, white, black, yellows, and I am happy if somebody has more than me (if he has honestly), and I am sad, because because there somebody who has less. But sad does not signify resigned.
And....
If you like we can talk about, but it is not compulsory :)

PHILOSOPHY

To be free is to have the intelligence to understand what is important, and the possibility to do it.
Love, especially the smalls, the ones that are not able to give you something back,
***

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am mainly an host, I have surfed only one time, and it was nice, I think I will repeat this experience

Interests

Part of my life, is taken from my job, hotel receptionist, that I like a lot, part it taken from the prayer, part from the friends, part from the family part from the travel.
I like the music specially the ethnic music (like reggae, blues, jazz, salsa) and the classical music.
I like the nature, to walk on the beaches and the trekking in the mountains, and ride bicycle and also walking in the small streets of Venice and by the canals specially when the sun is shining and warms you.
I like to talk of social things, politic, economy, nature, religion, dreams, projects and many other things. When I can agree something with somebody from San Francisco or Peking either Sydney either Moscow either London, I am happy about because this world come smaller.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of the important thing is always to realize dear surfer, that … you can feel to be at home, but you are not, and often your culture (where you come from, your age, your family customs), and ours can be different. If we will try (also in the small space of time at our disposal) to compare with big respect, our differences and our similarity, after your visit both we will be better. If we want to keep anyway our customs independently where and with who we are, we have missed one good occasion.
Note: Surfers...strongly suggested to have a mobile phone with you. Much easier our life, and much less possibilities of problems.
Note 2: I travelled more in the past, less now.. also because now I have discovered many nice things around and nearby home, that I did not see before, when I preferred to look far from here.
Venice is very nice, but some expensive, I think you have not to miss some rides by boat, to visit some important buildings with its history and to try one or two good restaurants. If do not have the economical possibilities to do it now, and you are not over 70th years old, please wait... continue for some months or years to study Venice in the books and in Internet and come here in the future, Then you will appreciate more and more our town. Maybe for somebody to make a walk in the street, do 150 photos, and eat a simple salad is enough... but you do not know what do you miss.....

Interesting web sites are :for the Venetian transports and services:

and if you do not find an host in Venice here you are the official list of the accomodation in Venice and around....
