I was born in country that sings. Latvia. At age of 22 I moved northwards. Estonia. They say their country is the one that sings. At age of 25 i moved further north. Finland. Now i live in North. But i also wish to move East, West and South.

ABOUT ME

Wooow.. well, i am not as complicated as it may seem.
I like to be in the forest, i like to be in the city, i like to mess with threads, needles and fabric. i love pure and local food ingredients. I love the smell of fresh bread and freshly grinded coffee.
I don't travel a lot but when i do, i try to get maximum range of emotions out of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several travelers when i lived in Latvia as well as surfed few times in Estonia. Not much but i have enjoyed those few times.

Interests

working with wood including old furniture renovation (haven't done that for a while)
sewing and experimenting with fabric;

Music, Movies, and Books

I like documentaries and enjoy European and Asian cinema.
Lately i have been watching lot of Korean movies. I really love movies based on true events.
Music usually depends on my mood. I listen what others recommend. Try to explore new things myself. Lately i listen to Monkey3, Camel Heads, O.Children. I like stoner rock as well as classical music. I think French is the most beautiful song language.
Few books that have inspired me are Murakami books, In Cold Blood (Truman Capote), One straw revolution by M.Fukuoka and several books by Latvian authors.
