About Me

*BACK TO BRAZIL: hey guys, I'm not living in Edinburgh anymore, so unfortunately I cannot host anyone there. I'm sorry :/"

Hi everyone! I'm a 21-year-old student doing a degree in Geology at USP (Universidade de São Paulo). I moved to São Paulo in 2015 and after some time getting acquainted with this huge capital, I can say I'm able to show you a bit of it.
Las year I moved to Scotland where I studied at The University of Edinburgh. That was very special to me and allowed me to make friends for life, to get to know lots of people and live new experiences, which includes traveling around Europe.
I did couchsurfing three times and so far I've had only good experiences - I hope it continues like that. I also volunteered in Italy through Workaway.
I just came back to Sao Paulo and I'm very excited about this new start in Brazil. I think that after this year abroad I'm much better prepared to help others travelers, I'll try to do my best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that the best way to get to know a place properly is doing that with the best guides: the locals themselves! I think couchsurfing can be a good opportunity to learn a new culture (and show a little bit of mine), make new friends, exchange experiences, and find out things that are not on the travel guides.

Interests

I love cooking and trying new recipes, even if they end up to be a disaster. And I love cheese.
I like to learn about other languages.
I like to listen to people's travel stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love classical, pop, brazilian popular music, traditional music.
Movies: mainly horror and thriller ones.
Books: a big fan of Agatha Christie, Poirot and Stephen King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've moved to the biggest city in south america with no previous knowledge about the city, I just felt like I needed a new challenge (thank god I did that, it's incredible how much you grow when you leave the comfort zone).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the recorder, some brazilian recipes (and make some food too) and portuguese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I just moved back to Sao Paulo and I'm still sorting things out in my flat, so it's a bit complicated to host people here. Also I'll be out in many days this year due to my course's field trips. Anyway send me a message and we can discuss the possibility.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, England, France, Italy, Scotland, Spain
