CURRENT MISSION
I want to experience as many different cultures as I possibly can. I intend to use Couch Surfing as a means to meet people and have a first-hand look at the local scene with new friends. I am not necessarily looking for a place to stay.

ABOUT ME
I am a clean, fit, non-smoker (cannot tolerate smoking, sorry!) My interests include scuba-diving, musical concerts (classical, jazz, local, traditional), local food and customs. I travel to understand cultures and enjoy nature.

I respect all opinions and expect mine to be respected as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined after meeting some very nice CS members at a CS/HS meeting in Detroit. I have hosted and been hosted, and occasionally participate in groups.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up with Neapolitan songs and European opera. I still love them, but now I also appreciate jazz, big bands, Andean music, and more. Maybe someday I may even develop an appreciation for rap someday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know. Perhaps parachuting over the Rhine - well, not exactly over the Rhine of course - was amazing for me. Close encounters with wild elephants at Corbett park in India was another. Meeting Quecha Indians in Ecuador... Seeing Petra in Jordan...
