Trying to a) put off working and b) fill my university holidays with things other than work

ABOUT ME

I'm a student at Cambridge University, which means I work very hard for half the year and have the other half free to do whatever I want. I study Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek), which probably technically makes me a massive geek, but I'm really quite normal. Honest. I like football, music, films and going for a drink with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Not doing anything isn't relaxing, it's boring. Keeping busy is much more fun.

Just signed up for this on the recommendation of several friends. No idea what I'm going to do with it yet.

Football (the mighty Portsmouth), music, reading, languages. More unusual stuff I do includes presenting various shows on a student radio station and performing stand-up comedy.

The Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Not sure I'd do it again (I've never been so scared) but definitely worth doing once before it's banned. Nothing else like it in the world.

I have learnt Latin, Ancient Greek and Russian. Apart from that, I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of football.

I'd love to get the chance to improve my Russian, French and/or Italian
