I am currently a university student trying to make the most out of my ability to travel while I still have some free time. Music, culture, exploring, and people really peak my interest. I also really enjoy playing sports. I am interested in learning things by experiencing them because I think that some of the most important things in life cannot be learned simply by reading and studying in a classroom.

Music, Movies, and Books

My preferred music genre is indie rock, but I am attempting to widen my scope a bit because, I admit, I can be a bit of a music snob. I do also like post-rock, prog-rock, classic rock, some post-punk, some trip-hop, and hip-hop. The latter-most category is strictly reserved for dancing purposes. My movie taste is similar to my taste in music, but I am a little less picky when it comes to movies. Here are some of my favorites: The Lives of Others, Stranger than Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Royal Tenenbaums, There Will Be Blood, I ♥ Huckabees, Juno, Oh, Brother Where Art Thou (a family fave), Adaptation, 21 Grams, Dan in Real Life, Waking Life
I tend to like most books that I read from fiction to non-fiction and some classic books- Les Miserables. Cry, The Beloved Country. The Secret Garden. The Scarlet Letter. Jude the Obscure. The Fall of the House of Bush. Brave New World. Short stories by Poe.
