Novelty. places, cuisines, experiences, ideas, movies, architecture. I like oranges, and pretty stationary too. Even for a break, I prefer vibrant cities, or a vacation around doing something.

Interests

Conversation. Having conversations with people is something that consistently makes me happier. The vast majority of my happy memories are of conversations – with friends and family and professors and colleagues. It is the sentences, the ideas, and the debates, that stick with me and sustain me.

spotting deer and elephants at a jungle safari in bandipore, rafting in galibore, boat race in allepey, moonlight trekking in skandagiri, driving 250 kms through the fog in 8 hours to ring in the new year at a fort in mandawa, sea floor walking in pattaya, a helicopter tour of manhattan, picnic in the middle of the jungle in chikmagalur, dune bashing in dubai, diving in amed and mabul, local wine at the farmer's market at sacre coeur in pari, marveled at the ostentatiousness of al burj and emirates in general, water skiing in lavasa, getting lost and walking down from tibidabo-barcelona after the last bus had left...
