ABOUT ME

Hi My Name is Caitlin Gangi. I am a junior at Villanova Univeristy in the USA studying Modern European History. Right now, I am studying abroad in Granada, Spain practicing my Spanish and getting to know some amazing people here. I am having such an amazing experience in Europe; I have been to Paris, Rome, around Spain, and I have also spent 5 days in Morocco. I am 21 years old originally from 20 minutes North of Boston, MA, USA. I want to teach high school history because my high school history teacher inspired me and made me fall in love with the subject, and I would ultimately like to have that same affect on my students. I love being outdoors instead of cramped inside all of the time. I really enjoy adventuring in new cities and experiencing all they have to offer. I rather hear what the locals have to say about the city then any tour guide book or website! I like meeting new people! Back home in the USA I like to have my share of nights home with a movie, popcorn, and a bottle of wine. However, I thoroughly enjoy to go out with friends. A good night would be going out to a local bar with a live band where I can dance around with my girl friends. I love going to the movies and dining out.I like to try new foods and having new experiences! I love Chinese, Italian, and Lebanese food but when ever I am in a new city, I like to try local grub:) Summer and fall are my favorite seasons. I love to spend my summers going to concerts and spending time at the beach and getting beach pizza or by the pool with my friends.

I LOVE country music, alternative rock, 80s rock, and some pop. I'm not too into R & B/Rap but I'm open to it if you have it playing. I really like Miike Snow, Radiohead, pretty much all types of music!

My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, Almost Famous, and Vanilla Sky. I love them! I love cult classics I love anything with Will Farrell. Genres I like are indie films, romantic comedies, comedies, and suspense!
