About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To avoid the real world as long as possible by pretending I have a career path in Outdoor Sports
ABOUT ME
I grew up in London after spending just over 3 years living in Romania. Always been around South West London. Went to Uni to study Politics then after I graduated thought about being a teacher and did a ski season. I then decided to do my Level 1 instructor course in Snowboarding instead of going to the interview for the teacher training course. Best decision.
I like to travel which is why I like this job and the next place on my list is South America and Japan. I don’t do so much travelling at the moment but I work all over Scotland so spend a lot of time in my van which I also really enjoy.
I live in the North West of the Scottish Highlands. It’s very remote but it’s very beautiful. Massive sandy beaches with mountains all around. What more could you want?
PHILOSOPHY
You only grow up once. No point rushing it...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had a spare room/couch throughout the winter season in Bansko which I was able to host people but I'm now travelling. However when surfing I try to offer the hosters as much as I can. Cooking, cleaning, drink and good company.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfed in Melbourne with 4 lovely people and I was hooked! After that, drove up the east coast and couch surfed some more...
Also had a couple surfers whilst in Bansko which was equally good fun.
Interests
Climbing, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, surfing, mountain biking, meeting new people that I wouldn't normally meet.
Can’t spend more than about a week in a city!

Music, Movies, and Books
Like a large range of music - I know thats fairly boring to say but its true.
I like dance music (drum n bass, tech house are the two favourites)
and I like a bit of indie and all sorts of stuff. Other genres; funk, reggae, jazz, chill out, funky jazzy chillout?
Always interested in listening to new music of any genre.
Like a range of books some a lot more geeky than others. I do read some Politics books which make people stop talking to me when they ask me what I'm reading.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently climbed Naranje De Bulmes with a friend. Spent a week climbing in Spain and that was by far the highlight.
Teach, Learn, Share
Want to learn new languages. I like the idea of this but I'm not so good at it. Love to hear how different cultures view the things we don't think twice about.
