About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Oasis in the desert.
ABOUT ME
I'm mostly solitary but love chatting and meeting interesting people. Over the Iast decade, I have lived in France, Wales, Italy, Turkey and the U.A.E. I'm quite creative and anarchist, I live out of labels and norms, and I love my life as a foreigner here, being a stranger allows you to actually be yourself more easily.
I already got several former lives with totally different occupations. I value ethics and minimalism in my everyday life, including my job. I'm currently a teaching French to students from Grade 4 to Grade 12.
PHILOSOPHY
There are no good or bad experiences, there are just experiences, and I try to make the most of what I live and experience. I am learning new things and discovering new worlds every day, and that's what keeps me going on in life.
I like taking time, going slow, not feeling pressure, in every aspects of my life. Travelling. Inside and outside. Growing. At my own pace.
"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Peanuts C. Schulz
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to host and meet a lot of people through Roller Derby when living in France.
I fell in love with Genova in Italy and I gladly hosted couchsurfers there. Take some time to discover this amazing city, you won't regret it : wandering randomly in its labyrinth streets, taking unknown stairways, going up on a hill or enjoying the windy seaside.
When I visit a place, I always prefer to have the inside view, not the tourist one. So staying with locals and sharing tips is just the perfect way to experience travelling for me.
Interests
I had many activities through the years, so I like all kind of different things.
I have been a classical and metal musician, an Amstrad hardcore gamer , a comic book Mommy, an international Roller Derby referee, an Indie video game curator, and all sort of nerdy things.
Since several years I am going through a more minimalist way of life, I'm more into self-introspection, zen, yoga, meditation, being attuned with the world... and knitting !
I'm not fan of lists and labels anyway. Better discover it with a good conversation :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Surrealist, abstract, weird creatives. Those kinda stuff, you know.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I created my own business while studying abroad as an Erasmus.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be a Primary school teacher and headmistress in France. I've also been a French Language Assistant in Wales when I was in my 20s. I taught French and English in Italy and the U.A.E. I was training people about ethics and web strategy in Istanbul.
So yeah, my life is based on teaching, learning and sharing. Each project, each trip, each encounter can be a turning point and impact me in a way you are not even aware of. And that's the beauty of a website like CS.
