I left the city life of NYC to travel the world January 2016 and haven't looked back! Looking to experience all that the world has to offer and learn from different cultures.

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, have local experiences and to help keep my budget in tact for long term travel.

Interests

I love getting lost in a new place and stumbling upon hidden gems. There isn't anything much better than a good cup of tea, and I love music/live performances. I enjoy being outdoors and surrounded by animals/wildlife. I love a great home cooked meal, and would love to cook together!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a massive live music fan, going to shows is one of my favorite ways to have a night out. I love everything from funk and disco, jam and acoustic. My record collection (sadly all boxed up at the moment..) has 400+ albums and ranges from 1930's Louis Armstrong to Todd Terje.
First artists that come to mind as faves are Phish, Vulfpeck, Otis Redding, Goldfish, Jamie XX, Tom Misch, The Meters... The list goes on.

I'm not the biggest movie buff, but anything that will entertain or educate me I'll surely enjoy.

Books- I love reading about other's travel experiences. From Finding George Orwell in Burma to Lost on Planet China to The Pursuit of Happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This trip, I've experienced living in a camper van in New Zealand, beach bumming in Fiji, becoming one with the fishes scuba diving in Indonesia and the Philippines, motorbiking and temple hopping around Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia. It's been a wild ride so far!
