ABOUT ME

I'm currently 22 years old and living in Los Angeles, which kind of reminds me of a futuristic cyberpunk city at times!

I love to immerse myself in all forms of art but especially

-visual arts
-music
-video games and other interactive art

I'm currently in the process of transferring to art school to pursue my dreams of being an illustrator!

I am a beginner in Philosophy but I'm always interested in discussing it and learning more about it.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that life is what you make of it. I want to make mine a good one full of interesting experiences that I can cherish!

I also think there are plenty of negative people in the world as it is, so I try to add some positivity to it whenever I can. Optimism is beautiful!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a strong wanderlust and want to see more of the world! I like to travel and meet new people and gain new experiences along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I've never surfed a couch myself before, I once had someone I met from Florida come visit for a night. We played video games and laughed all night!

I'm looking forward to more fun couchsurfing experiences in the future.

Interests

I love to create and consume art, read novels, and watch films.

I'm always on the look out for interesting new musicians or bands to listen to, music is truly the stuff of life!

It clears my mind to go out on a hike or explore a city. I believe getting back to nature is one of the most beautiful things in life. I'm something of a Romantic spirit and getting out and exploring sets my soul ablaze!

Seeing a new city is always breath-taking for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite films, in no particular order: Pulp Fiction, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Kill Bill, Evil Dead 2, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Looper, and The Royal Tenenbaums.

Some favourite music artists are Toro Y Moi, Austra, Animal Collective, Purity Ring, The White Stripes, and Grimes.

As far as books, I love House of Leaves and anything by Haruki Murakami. I have a huge backlog of books that I want to read! I doubt I'll ever read all the books that I want to, but I'm trying my best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Outsidelands music festival in San Francisco was amazing and totally new to me. I had never been to that city before and was blown away by how nice the people were!

Camping out in the Mojave desert for a post-apocalyptic fesitval and seeing the bright moon and stars was also very beautiful.
