ABOUT ME

I have a ferocious appetite for all that is rad and a tendency to misspell everything.

I have the heart of a hippi and the spirit of an adventurer. If I had my way there would be some lost continent with dinosaurs that I could explore with my band of amigos.

So, I'm back from Japan and now I'm personal training for Equinox in the bay area. I <3 getting people healthy. Currently, I'm training for ninja warrior. Ultimately, I want to be a renaissance man and a child of the world.

I am: a nerd , an outdoors-man, a vacuous reader, beer lover, and an artist (love drawing)

I have been: a special education teacher, personal trainer, outdoor guide and a lifeguard.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

In Japan I hosted for days to months at a time and loved every moment of it. I played tour guide taking friends to Ise Jingu and the local brewery. Upon returning home I hosted when room and time would allow it. Currently, I am limited by space and a strange lease but I can't wait to host again.

Through my travels I've come to understand that what drives me the most is human connection. There is nothing more enjoyable than sharing stories in strange places over good food. Except maybe the ensuing adventures!

There is no better platform better suited for connecting people than couch surfer.

I've dabbled in many activities from painting Warhammer miniatures to adventure races but as I've gotten wiser I've learned to focus my enthusiasm.

Books: I have a spreadsheet on my computer with 200+ books in it that I have read. I <3 books. Favorite genres= fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction/non fiction, biographies and literature. Two of my favorite authors are Hemingway and Steinbeck.

Music: Love it

Movies: To many to count but I loved Alien and Aliens, all the Indian Jones movies. I know more about Star Wars then is healthy. But really I do love most movies and even bad ones.

One time my friends and I were hiking along the lost coast in California (a three day trip) and we found a dead blue whale on shore. It stunk so bad but it was absolutely enormous and even dead you could tell it was an amazing creature.

Europe was pretty amazing especially all the nerding out I did in the Louvre.
