CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to be in the moment and enjoy this voyage one day at a time.

ABOUT ME

I am an observer. I like to take long walks with my little camera just to take visual notes. I am clean, neat and mindful of myself and others. I can get silly and have lots of fun, which does not include substances of any sort:-) It took a while to figure that out but life is better on the other side. I am trusting and trustworthy and really enjoy people from all over the planet. The ordinary intrigues me and keeps me inspired: the glow of a street light, an orange cone along the road or a crumpled piece of discarded paper. Life is simple and I am optimistic. When it rains on me I just have to realize that its because I need to grow.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in introspection and being my own witness. How I navigate through life is dependent on being honest with myself and others. In order to do this I have to notice what I am actually doing versus what I am thinking about doing. I work towards living in a peaceful state of mind and although difficult at times, I believe that personal growth is paramount. Being aware of one's self and others without unnecessary judgement keeps the pathway somewhat smooth. Honing my tools is an important daily ritual for me. I believe in being kind and compassionate - but I am not naive. Sometimes I feel that the fantasy is better than the reality and I am fully aware that the grass is not greener on the other side - just different and sometimes similar if not the same. The golden rule is key. I listen and know that humor is a wonderful elixir.

I am interested in talking long walks, drawing, collecting particular found objects and going to new places. I enjoy green tea and listening to live music. I like to day dream and relax. I enjoy sharing with others. I enjoy walking about while enjoying the visual experience of the space around me. I am interested in all things positive and am willing to be compassionate with regard to negative things. I like to cook and enjoy delicious inexpensive food experiences. I am inquisitive and like learning. I like all forms of creativity. There is a lot more to explore.

Transformers,Gladiator, Road Trip, Other Peoples Lives. I like all kinds movies - a lot. I listen to all kinds of music. The newest group I have come across is Mattafix. I am currently reading Howard Zinn's "Artists in Times of War".

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I got on to a 50' sailboat with two people that I had not met and one that I had only met for a moment a few months prior. Over a period of sixteen days we sailed from Oahu, Hawaii to Monterey, California.

Practically speaking with regard to the material world, I have a lot of skills with regard to making things and getting things done. For now, I would like to learn more Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft word. I am patient teacher and English lessons seem to be part of my travel experience and well as making art with and for other people. There is more - always more.
