About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm going to save up this summer and hopefully get to Southeast Asia in the fall!

ABOUT ME

Laughing is the best! I'm passionate about creating and performing as a theatrical clown. Road trips in my Kia are the greatest, my siblings are my best friends, I love to travel and I love sandwiches!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is Beautiful. Life is Tragic. The only way to live this truth is to laugh.

All I know is that I don't know anything... I think

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a road trip from Toronto, ON to St. Johns, NFLD in this beautiful country in the fall of 2012. I met lots of amazing people who let me stay on their couches and beds, I played games with some, drank and ate good food with others. I still can hardly believe this community exists. What an amazing experience! I can't wait to do more.

I'm finally in a place where I can comfortably host people at my place. I just moved downtown! Lets meet!

Interests

I love to watch the sun rise and set on the beautiful prairies. I also love to sit by a roaring fire on an occasional trip to the mountains. I enjoy walking in the forest in the country or parks in the city. When I'm home in Calgary I like going to the Loose Moose for improv and I love checking out different theatre shows. I'm always down for brunch too ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I looooove folk music. I can't wait for the next folk music fest!

I'm the worst movie critic, I'll watch just about anything.

I'm not as voracious a reader as I used to be but I still really like a good book when I can find one. I am just about to start Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to see my friend in China. We went to his in-laws rice paddy farm and climbed a nearby little mountain. It was like a whole different world with the water buffalo and the different way the farmers lived. The view from on top of the mountain after trekking through the sub-tropic forest was spectacular.

One of my favourite things to do when I was younger was going on camping trips with my brother and younger sister. One time we chased a bear down a road and into the spruce trees trying to take a picture. My best moment though was when we were sitting on the edge of a small lake listening to the hum of the tiny rain drops hit the surface of the otherwise calm water. I will never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you a few chords on the guitar and I just bought a ukulele! I make pretty good scrambled eggs too.

I know a little bit about a lot of things but not a lot about anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Downtown high-rise sleeps with Rocky Mountain views!
