ABOUT ME
Easy going and accepting of all walks of life, I continually strive to be open minded and willing to confront any obstacles that arise from travelling off the beaten path. While trying to find enjoyment in everything I do, I also notice a lot in the world that I would like to help change. In this regard, I try to be as forward thinking as possible, while learning from the past and applying these lessons to the future.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is about happiness not only for oneself, but for all those around us. The world can be a beautiful place for some, but miserable for many others. One person can breed change, and I believe that every day we must embody the principles we wish to see shared all over the world. It is important to take responsibility for our actions, and to understand that the repercussions are felt globally. Living simply, healthily, and environmentally friendly are the three main principles in which I base my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm willing to host or meet up with any travelers and share interesting locations around the city. I take the visiting surfers interests to heart and try to find places or activities that would have the greatest impact on the travelers experience with my city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to the Couchsurfing scene, but I'm a very willing participant.
Interests
I'm very active, and enjoy all type of sports and activities that involve physicality. I play soccer year-round, as well as golf, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, volleyball, climbing, and hiking. I enjoy being outside the most, and to me there's nothing better than having a barbecue out in the sun, listening to music, drinking cold beer, and playing any time of outdoor drinking game like corn hole, horse shoes, kan jam - anything that's active and can involve everyone.
I'm also an avid Blues fan and have been trying my own hand at playing blues guitar for a little while now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was a kid, my family and I drove from Philadelphia to the Grand Canyon, and weren't sick of each other at the end!
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach from experience, which for me is related to music, sports, art, and architecture. I am accepting of other points of view, but also carry my own personal beliefs on these subjects. You'll have to get to know me to find out what interests me the most.
