ABOUT ME

I'm a fun, outgoing guy who loves adventure. I substitute teach, I've bartended, and enjoy being very active. I also teach Krav Maga and self defense on my off days. I am also married and my wife is a Physical Education teacher in Roanoke VA.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to spend the next year or so traveling and working where I can to gain some life experience and adventure.

Interests

Hiking, mountain biking, skiing, rafting, reading, Krav Maga and shooting. Don't worry, I am instructor in the last two.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fan of all kinds of music. Depends on my mood. Old school rock, hip hop, and some 90's stuff are usually my jams.
As for movies: the classics, Goonies, Willie Wonka, The explorers, etc. I am a marvel fan, so a heads up.
Books: I love to read, usually scifi, futuristic stuff. Also anything written by Rick Riordin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ha, well...I hit a deer with an airplane. Yep, you've read that correctly. I have my pilots license and was landing late at night and a deer ran out in front while I touched down. Good news, the planes wing just clipped the deer and the deer and aircraft were both okay.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always open to teaching any skill set I have. Be it self defense, shooting, acting and theater, etc. But I also love to learn new skills and knowledge.
