About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life how I want to live it
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Arizona, I'm ready to get out. In 2011 I quit my job in the restaurant industry to pursue more adventurous life experiences. I began traveling by myself. I volunteered in Cusco, Peru for 8 weeks and loved everything about it. The beautiful locals, friends, cuisine, surrounding cities including the famous Machu Picchu. After returning home I immediately wanted to get back out on the road. I talked with a friend from New Zealand whom I met while in Peru about my long desire to visit, work and live in New Zealand. She set me up for a few weeks at her place in which I worked for 2 months and traveled for another. I returned home once again for Christmas and New Years but still wasn't ready to stay home. I met a bunch of people in New Zealand who had traveled Southeast Asia or were planning on heading there next. It was sign. I flew into Bangkok (one-way ticket this time) to take on this completely different Southern Eastern Asian part of the world. What an incredible experience that was. Learning so much history and culture of these amazing countries. Meeting so many great travelers/backpackers along the way. I have learned so much about life, other cultures, and myself over that year.
PHILOSOPHY
Be open-minded, Try new things, Get out of your comfort zone, Live an adventurous life, Throw yourself in the deep end and see how you cope. We only have one life. 20's and 30's go by quickly.
