ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old guy with Red-Hair.

I grew up in various states in the Southern United States: Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, then spent most of my teens and early 20's in Texas.

After graduating college I worked in an office for 2 years, but decided I wasn't ready for the full-time commitment yet.

So then moved to Japan for 1 year. Then to Australia for 1 year. I've been in Boston for 1 year as a Masters student, but I'm planning on traveling and studying in Europe from July 2010 - Dec 2010. Since I have little money and enjoy hanging with new people, I figure this site is a good fit for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life the way you want as long as it doesn't effect other peoples rights.

Don't spend your life comparing yourself to everyone else, otherwise you'll never be happy.

If you don't like something change it, if you can't change it change your mindset. Never complain.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I live with 2 roommates who aren't really keen to the idea of letting someone coach surf here. But I'd love to show someone around Boston if you'd like! Hopefully soon I'll have a place where I can host.

兴趣

I love to play basketball. Try to play guitar and the piano but don't expect much from me.

I also really like hiking and camping.

I've been trying to get into some new music lately. But my favorites are Wilco, The Shins, Ben Kweller, and Weezer.

Don't have as much time for personal reading as I'd like since I"m in grad school.

hmm, well I guess my schooling would be useful. I"m getting a master in international economics, so I enjoy talking about the world economy.

I also consider myself an ok basketball player, if you need an extra player anytime.
