About Me

CURRENT MISSION

TBD

ABOUT ME

As a kid I used to dream about traveling the world and documenting it for others to see. Then, I went to college was told to get a job, got a job, left it for real estate and mortgage banking, succeeded and failed there, realized I wasn't following my passion so I stopped that, moved to California, started working in the health and nutrition space and I'm now creating a webseries and blog about traveling the world and following your passion.

PHILOSOPHY

The reason I do anything is to be able to visit and/or celebrate with my family at any time, in any place in the world, and at any cost. This encompasses my love for my family, the opportunity to travel, and the money needed to do all of this and help others better their lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member for quite sometime but I have only used it a few times because my international travel has been severely limited over the last few years. My wife and I are currently working on our online businesses so that we can see more of the world and would love to be active members of this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed 3x, Slovenia, Turkey, and Brazil. We've also hosted multiple people to our home in LA. Awesome experience. My wife and I would like to start opening up our house to other surfers soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gladiator is my favorite movie. Jacob Vanags is my favorite musician. 4 Hour Work Week is my favorite book. Others include Bourne Identity, Book of Eli, Damned United, Dumb and Dumber, Led Zepplin, Jason Mraz, Citizen Cope, 2Pac, Augastana, David Grey, How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Aladdin Factor, Let My People Go Surfing, The Outliers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle from Brisbane, Australia to Sydney, Australia. It took my 2 weeks of riding every day for 2-6 hours by myself. Slept in a tent along the beach, made friends, and learned more about myself in that trip more than any other experience...and every Aussie thought I was nuts. I experienced more in those 2 weeks than any other student experienced in their 5 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to teach as many people about the importance of world travel and self-exploration through world travel. How will you truly know who you are if you aren't willing to understand others first. I want to learn about why other societies do the things they do so that I might be able to add to the fulfillment of my life through their ideas that enhance lifestyle. I want to share this experience with others through film.

Costa Rica, Germany, Peru, Romania, Virgin Islands, U.S.
