About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm currently working for a furniture design company in Cali, on my free time I like to cook, watch films, go to grab a beer downtown and in the meantime learn as much as possible from different cultures and countries way of life.
ABOUT ME
I'm the kind of guy that runs from self descriptions, but here it's. i'm currently living in Barcelona for a year, doing my internship in industrial design, i love music, tend to always have a tune playing in the background, whereas walking in the street or in the house. also film addict, hollywood or independent, i enjoy 'em all. i like to go out and have a good time, talk all night, and walking back home with a beer in the hand. things that i miss back home, the food, friends, family and my cat. at least i've learn this past year how to cook "grandma style".
**Update: Back in Cali, enjoying the sun, friends and working doing what i like!
PHILOSOPHY
Regret nothing, cause it made what you are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For the past year, me and my brother had been hosting almost non-stop, but this is the first time that i will surf, for the month of july i'm planning to make a trip by train around europe, and will try to absorb as much as i can from each city, train ride, people i run into and so on.
Interests
love films, try to devour all genres, can easilly saty all day long watching movies with some popcorn. the same as well for music taste, listen to about everything, except metal and similiar, i just dont have the ears for it, apart from that, i'm always in the look out for new sounds. i enjoy hiking and walking a lot, wether is in the city or in the country side.

Music, Movies, and Books
the ones i listen more often: spoon, radiohead, daft punk, belle & sebastian, the raconteurs, wolfmother, nicolas jaar, jose gonzalez, muse, justice and so on. for books that i really like, the unbereable lightness of the being, the book of laughter and forgetting, The Sound and the Fury, the Borgias, que viva la musica. finally in the matter of movies, directors as kubrick, polanski, the coen brothers, david cronenberg, antonioni, the earlyones and the last of woody allen, francis and sofia coppola, michael haneke, aronofsky, christopher nolan, terry gilliam, wes anderson, tarantino and robert rodriguez and lars von trier.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once i travelled in my country to the San Agustin ruins, they are really amazing, they're locqted in the south bording with ecuador, the ruins were left by indian tribes, and are really huge rocks carved into the shapes of animals and gods, anyway as some of you may know, my country suffers from the conflict between the goverment and guerrilla, so in the way to san agustin, i was in the bus and in the middle of nowhere a couple of armed guerrila men get in, they ride as normal passengers and a couple of minutes later get off, not even half an hour later, the bus stops again and few soldiers came in, and the same happens, it was a bit surreql scene, not to say scary as well, knowing how this two parties battle each other in the forest, hqving them next to me, and also how the people aren't able to take sides, and have to plea to the demqnd of both in order no to get judge. i reqlly love my country but this scene got me thinking about how absurd is war, how places as beautifull as San Agustin and many more, get lost and how people don't visit them because they are in the middle of combat zones.
