I am 28 years old. I'm originally from Amsterdam The Netherlands, but I've been in de US for 2 years now, I live with John, my husband (who I met when he sent me a message on couchsurfing! ) in Reno NV
It's a big change and I'd hope to make some friends along the way. I working here as a freelance animator/ filmmaker and am a barista in a local coffeeshop. I continue to ride my bicycle like I'm still in Amsterdam.

I love meeting new people everywhere, and when I travel I like to meet locals instead of other tourist. Couchsurfing has been a great experience for me so far!

I love to travel, to read, sunny weather, friends, chocolate, movies, music, art, cycling, rock climbing, bouldering, hula hooping, camping, hiking, nature and adventures.

Also good to know I eat vegetarian :)

I like to read Milan Kundera, David Sadaris, Isabelle Allende and I've read every book from Haruki Murakami.
My taste in music is very versatile, today I've listened to: Belle & Sebastian, Wu-tang Clan, Manu Chao, The Smiths and Alt-j.
Some of my favorite movie directors are: Pedro Almodóvar (Habla con ella), David Fincher, Michel Gondry, Terry Gilliam.
