Hello, I am Chakhei Ma, Amos. Nice to meet you.

I am 24 years old and I am a Christian. I graduated from university in 2013. I am an optimistic and cheerful youth. I love doing new things and meet new people. For now, I am working in Ngong Ping 360, one of Hong Kong's tourist attractions.

In my leisure time, I have participated volunteer services. To make a difference to people's lives is very meaningful to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have started it since January 2013. I hosted for four times and surfed once until now. I have an amazing time with poeple who stay in my house to visit Hong Kong, like the Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui, the Big Buddha and Cheung Chau. I am looking forward to more Couchsurfing Experience. :)

Interests

I love sports very much, like football, basketball and tennis. My favorite football club is Real Madrid. One of my dream is watching a football match in Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. When I have free time, I watch sports events. Besides, I enjoy running so much. I think doing exercises can release my pressure.

I love listening to Western music and watching movies. Also, I enjoy travelling. I wish to visit one city per year. So, I have been traveled to Bangkok, Barcelona, Granada, Madrid, Paris, London, Shanghai, Seoul, Seville, Tokyo and Vancouver. I think going to different places can open my eyes to see the world and understand other cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the volunteer of the 26th Summer Universiade Shenzhen in August 2011, which is a large sport event in the world. I served athletes from different countries. Besides, I cooperated with volunteers from Asian countries to teach children English voluntarily in Thailand December 2012 for a month. In July 2013, I worked with European volunteers in Madrid to build a garden.
