About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Any Adventure, anywhere, at any time for any reason.

I finished traveling around the world for a year. Now living in Poland. But, wow, do I miss launching new adventures!

Europe is now on my horizon. Deep Europe. True Europe. The rough, fascinating, real Europe and her people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted two brothers from England for 5 days. They were biking from Victoria Canada to California and then splitting, one to Costa Rica and the other Denver. Well they both stayed here in Vancouver and we checked out the famous Portland micro-brews like the Lucky Lab and White Eagle. We hiked Multnomah falls and Beacon Rock. Lots of laughs, culture-crossover conversations, and good times.

After that, it's been a whirlwind of hosting and surfing and generally participating in CS fun.

I've been couch surfing through the dangerous places of the world and found...the most kind hearted people.

Interests

Getting to know people of every shape, size, color, and uniqueness.

Out there in the Couchsurfing world.

Where have you traveled? what crazy things have you done? what's it like where you are, the culture, people, places, events in history and now? I like to talk, but I love to listen. Count me in on; standup comedy, conversations on any topic, tennis, ping-pong (table tennis), mountain biking, hiking, ruins of castles or palaces, historical castles/palaces/buildings, swimming, photography, travel, art, architecture, and being seriously spontaneous, influencingly independent, and avaricously adventurous.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books by author: Andy Weir, Chuck Palli., Paulo Coelho, Douglas Adams, P.G. Woodhouse, J.K. Rowling, Steinbeck, and more.

Music: Feed me, Knife party, AWOL Nation, Queen, Nirvana, Green Day, Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, Franz Ferdenand, The XX, The Heavy, Lonely Island, Offspring, Metallica,

Movies: almost everything, from Amelie to Inception, from Monty Python to Momento, from the Polish movie Kiler to Bollywood and back again. Movies help us collectively tell stories about ourselves and life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Restoring a 1952 Divco Milk Truck. Turning it into an Art Car and driving it around the world...inspiring people of all ages ... to be kids again.

Teach, Learn, Share

How to give a proper speech. In front of hundreds of people. How to be witty, entertaining, and memorable :)
