About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To drink more water.

ABOUT ME

I'm easy-going. I like to laugh. I sing when I'm happy. I enjoy howling at the full moon. Sometimes I write poems that are so bad, they're good. I want to start a collection of hot sauces from around the world. I have endearingly large teeth. I'm always open to new experiences and believe in giving everything a go at least once. Why not?

PHILOSOPHY

To me, there is nothing more freeing than condensing all my worldly possessions into a single backpack. It's exciting to think that I could be anywhere in the world next year, next month or even next week.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed in 8 countries and have been hosted by numerous wonderful people. Now that I've decided to stay in a place for longer than a few months, it's my turn! I am relatively new to Santa Cruz so I'm not exactly "Santa Cruz local" but I'll try my best.

If you would like to send me a couchsurfing request, please read my "My Home" section carefully to see if it will suit you. I prefer last minute requests.

Interests

I like good coffee, spicy food, dive bars, rock climbing, trekking, hiking, camping, the beach, sun, markets, Dad jokes, bad puns, 90's tunes and meandering about a new city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, I like anything I can boogie down to or sing along to.

My favourite movie of all time is The Breakfast Club. I also like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Juno, Mean Girls and Quentin Tarantino movies.

I love 1984 by George Orwell, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams and anything written by Kurt Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Couch"surfing with a Bedouin man and sleeping in caves in the deserts of Jordan.

Having a tattoo freehanded for me in the living room of a couchsurfing host in San Diego.

Watching a meteorite shower from the tallest volcano in Central America then hiking to the peak to watch the sunrise.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
