Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We currently live in Portland, OR and love to meet new people and show them around our city. Whether it is sharing a coffee, beer or meal, going on a hike, walking along the waterfront or listing to live music, we are open to hanging out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have crashed on a lot of couches, floors, balconies and mattresses in our lives. Only once officially via CS so far. We have attended a few CS meet-ups and had a blast. Looking forward to uping our involvement with the CS community!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Hot air ballooning
-Hiking the Great Wall of China
-Continually amazed by the beauty of sunrises & sunsets
-Seeing sea turtles, sharks, stingrays & other amazing sea life while diving in SE Asia
-Hiking in Cappadocia, Turkey
-Exploring Angkor Wat
-We both had the great opportunity to study abroad in college which kick started our love for travel (Mike in Valparaiso, Chile and Amy in Copenhagen, Denmark).

Teach, Learn, Share

We enjoy speaking (Mike) and practicing (Amy) Spanish, and are always happy to help others learn English. Exchanging travel stories is fun. Always up to hear new music and try new foods.
