About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live a fully expressed life through self-inquiry, awareness and deep play—and to help others do the same.

ABOUT ME

I believe in living passionately, fully and authentically. I love high heels and rock-climbing gear with equal fervor. I must remember to wipe the chain grease off my calves before running out the door in a strappy dress.

I have the New Yorker, Wired and Twine magazines on my coffee table. What is Twine? An independently published literary & lifestyle pub with an international subscriber base and 20,000+ readers (I am the founder, editor and manifestress).

I'm Level 1 certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and have written about wine, food, travel, community, salsa dancing (I used to be on a semi-professional salsa team) and eons more.

PHILOSOPHY

Intertwine play and purpose every day to unveil a more creative, fulfilling, expansive life. Use self-inquiry to find our own unique rhythm and express that into the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host when I can and love staying with locals, especially when we can all use bicycles and bike around their area together!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had amazing, trip-changing experiences using CS. I've stayed with people in Spain, France and all over the United States... and have hosted a number of people when I used to live by myself in a studio.

Interests

Mountain biking, salsa dancing, writing, exchanging glances, drinking wine, hiking, traveling, culinary pleasures, intense massages, bookstores, rock climbing, playing chess, the female body, using my planner, making awesome guacamole, coffeeshops, searching for cheap airfare, eating my way into and out of farmer's markets, surprises, lying in the grass, the crunchy bits at the bottom of cereal boxes, yoga, cucumber mint candles, pulling strings off bananas with precision.
