Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to have an empty room at home, where I host some friends/friends of friends and family... I thought it could be cool if I can know new interesting people as well.
Same when I travel, I use to take a hotel/hostel room but if im traveling alone its not easy to find good reliable and proactive advices...
