Overview
About Me
From Norway. I study intercultural communication and global corporations.
Eager to understand people and situations around me. Free-thinker and curious. Dreamer yet a realist.
I love to laugh and can be quite silly and a fair amount of crazy. My attitude while traveling is to go with the flow and follow my instincts. Travel slow, travel deep, look up.
Music, roadtripping, nature, people, stars, sunsets, beach, adventures and adrenaline rush makes the best of moments! I acknowledge the ordinary but searching for the unusual.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet people, hang out, share stories, have fun. People are the key to awesome trips and the inside of the cultures and the local way of life :)
You know the feeling you get when you meet someone you know you are not going to forget in a lifetime, or the moment you put your headset on and go off to an adventure? Yeah, thats the one.
So why am I on couchsurfing? Because of the fact that the moments that really stuck with me after my travels ended, always involved the local people I met. Couchsurfing does a great job breaking down stereotypes and connecting people all over the world. We all belong to the same planet. Be humble, be kind. Spread positive vibes
Yolo :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I didnt do amazing, I saw amazing and amazing came to me.
Fieldwork in Madagascar was unforgettable. I spent a month interviewing and studying several households, prisons and other institutions, and simple farmers on the countryside in Madagascar, trying to understand the differences and the similarities on social behaviour and societies. Getting lost in places where no tourists and modernity can be found is always special.
Hitchhiking and crossing borders by foot in SA.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not the type of person who would bring you on a long guided tour to tell you all the facts and history there is to know about a place. But if I have time I would love to show you some cool places, give advices on where to go or even go there together, have some fun, exhange ideas and culture, and have interesting conversations in some beautiful spots. Thats the same thing I am looking for when I travel as well. The small little things you cant find in guidebooks; bonfires at the beach with good company and some star gazing or jamming on the guitar, exchange culture, laugh, talk, walk or simply just take a little part in peoples every daylife and get to know the person a bit. Nature spots are awesome and human relations even better.
