ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly optimist with a young spirit. I'm from England/Wales in the UK and have been living in Eugene Oregon for 3.5 years- which I chose for it's wonderful people/alternative communities, creativity, music/art, Green/natural living and abundance of outdoorsey activities. I traveled globally and but not lately, getting about locally by bike(I'm a non-car owner.) I play Irish whistle(flute) and Celtic folk music on guitra. I am a qualified massage therapist and have a keen interest in natural health. I believe we create most of our reality, in the thoughts that we put out into the universe, so I try to observe my thinking and emotional patterns. I've got Buddhist tendencies but tend to be a little lazy on the meditation practice side of things... ah discipline, it's so elusive and so desirable!!I love to learn and share knowledge/experiences with others. I love to sing, write and dance. Faery seeking in woodlands in my latest indulgence to my inner child and higher self.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've unoffically couch-surfed in many places in my life, particularly while travelling for a year in Australia. I've done quite a lot of WOOFING there and in main land Europe, which also involved some couches. Lots of wonderful people met, some now long distance pen-pals.

Interests

I'm an animal lover (especially horses who I like to interact with through "Natural Horsemanship".) Most of my peak experiences have been in nature and or with animals- a feeling of connectedness which is spiritual in nature and beyond words and which is my soul food. Chocolate Crossiants are also soul food- guaranteed to make me happy. Ah, the simple pleasures of life! Being swept away by awesome music makes life worth living for me too. My attention is grabbed by natural beauty and heart-opening experiences. I like bike touring and want to do more of it. I want to travel the USA on horse back- anyone want to come?!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

HIgh altitude long distance treks the Himalayas, hitched hiked to Poland from the UK. Trained young "untouched" horses to saddle/ "colt starting", natural horsemanship.

Earth advocates/lovers, outdoorsey folks, wiser people than myself, people who have have active spiritual lives, people who can help me fill mu knowledge gaps about history. science and politics.
